[ SHOWGSD-L ] Yikes! I volunteered

Very recently at our club meeting they were looking for a show secretary for
our next specialty. Nobody offered so, as I had never done this, I
volunteered. Possibly we wouldn't have had our specialty otherwise.You've no
idea how totally terrified some of you folks have made me. I feel like the
world's greatest sucker!
Most of you are kind sportsmen. However, just in case there's a nasty in
the bunch--I graduated from "Nasty School" many many years ago and have been
practicing hard ever since.
I intend and will try to do my best to be nice, obliging, and to follow the
rules .
