Jamie and I were at the same hotel...and at the last minute my wife decided not

I'm finally getting caught up! Â I got home to six puppies screaming when
they heard me, the older dogs all wanting their hugs, cats all over me and the
roses all gasping for water......it's great to be needed. Â <g>
   T'was a great National....a special one for any of you nay-sayers, who
still think you can't win unless you have an edge. Â The people who own the
RWD (under me) and the WD and Maturity winner (under Dan) are
"Newbies".....this is their first show dog! Â And my WB was
breeder/owner/handled to finish
that day. Â So be enlightened and encouraged....
   Lots of great moments to share with friends; the comraderie was
wonderful. Â The weather was perfect....the quality of dogs a sight to behold.

Watching Hunter Tank going around the ring dressed exactly like Dad brought
tears to my eyes. Â I got to ride with Barbara on the way to the airport and
had
a great chat....she is one of my all-time favorite dog ladies and a great
judge.
   Thanks and kudos to the Utah club....Max Thompson for picking me up
and Anna Myers for taking me back. Â Anna is one gracious human being. :-)
   Congrats to all the winners!
   Missed seeing alot of faces, so everybody work on getting to Topeka
next year!
