Tish merely stepped in as Vice President as she is supposed to .....and did a
great
job I might add.
NO ONE has removed or replaced Gail.........and no one wants to. As you said
.....only
Gail can make that decision and it is hers to make ....and we will trust her
and respect
her decision.
I know I am grateful for Tish's due diligence and hard work and concern for
the Club
as she took over the business of the Club and ran the meeting with no time to
prepare
and no intent to take over. There should never be resentment for what Tish
does, but
only the utmost respect for her faithful hard work and continued willingness to
work for
this Club.
The entire Board is not responsible for one person not attending a meeting or
resigning.
We only do what we can do..........those are not Board decisions. <G>

I read a post that was cross-posted. It said our President of the GSDCA has
been replaced.
As someone who voted in our board, I resent anyone removing or replacing
someone without a resignation. If indeed Gail did resign, I may have missed
it.
I don't mean to object in any way to Tish, I am sure she would do a great
job. But, we didn't vote for Tish to be president, and unless Gail has
indicated she no longer will serve, (and the membership should be notified
of
such), this feels very unpleasant to me.
If Gail for personal reasons cannot continue to serve, let me be one of
the first to thank her for all she has done. More so than anything else,
she
changed the direction and perception of our board, and for that we owe her
our gratitude.
If this is true, and I have no reason to doubt it, then I wish Gail the
very best, and hope life brings her whatever she wishes.
