In the late 80's we had a bitch that won the 9-12 at the National, the 6-9 went
RWB. They WOULDN"T let us come back in for Best Puppy. Ann

was Reserve. So, since by going Reserve, she has already beat the 6-9 puppy
bitch, which didn't go Reserve. So, the talk was that since the 6-9 puppy
bitch was already beaten, she shouldn't come back in the ring to compete for
Best Puppy. I probably have the facts wrong but that is the theory that was
going around.
Karen Wagner came to the announcer's table and told us only the three
puppies were to come in for Best Puppy. The Guz said no, it is a different
judge,
and a non-regular class, so they all come in. The four puppies were judged,
and now someone smarter than me, (which includes everyone involved) will have
to figure it out.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
