Since as an attorney I always kept track of my time. While on the board, I
spent at least 10 hours a week on club business. When I registered the
trade-mark for the club, I paid the fees. When I did contracts for the club,
they were free. When I had to register the club to change it from The
Shepherd Dog Club to The German shepherd Dog Club, I paid for it.
I have over 20 Banker Boxes of pleading, letters, and documents from when I
was on the board. They are in storage.
I too am not griping. I was honored to be elected to the board. Today I
would not have the time to do it. And, I no longer have the energy it
requires.
I enjoyed being on the board, but could/would never do it again.
