I totally agree with you Ed and am glad you all have not given up and have kept
this going. But, what is the answer? How do we get them to listen? I for
one, as a lot of people I have talked to are not going to Purina. It is really
a shame what they have done.

Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] What Really happened in Reno?
They say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.... Well Reno ain't Vegas! Our
Board sent out two very weak explanations as to why Reno was cancelled , vague
reasons were given about rising expenses and contract disagreements with little
to NO details given to Membership? We don't even know how the members voted!
Here is what we do know! We're going back to St Louis this year, next year, and
the year after that! And what is the membership going to do?! Not a damn thing!
I was born at night, but it wasn't last night! First let me say I'm not
accusing anybody of anything but it sure seems like Purina ( or their influence
and money) runs our club! It's like when you smell something rotten in the
refrigerator , you don't know what it is or where it's coming from, but you
don't ignore it and close the door, you find it and dispose of it! But that's
not what we do here! We know something is rotten! But what do we do! We bitch
and moan and close the refrigerator door and move on! If there were ever a
time for the members of this club to stand together and demand change its now!
If the 2017 National stays in St Louis, then shame on ALL of us. If you are not
willing to stand up and fight for what you want, then anything you get is
better than you deserve! And for those of you who say I'll go to the National
no matter what and the rest of you need to stop bitching! YOU are part of the
problem! Rotation is the law of the land, to ignore it is not an option! We
fell for the lie once about the FREE three year St Louis National, damn us if
we do it again! Every currant board member should be investigating right this
minute how to reverse this wrong! Yes Penny the Revolution will NOT be
televised, but if it was this group would sleep right through it! And yes Molly
I broke my promise! This was NOT nice, but absolutely necessary ! Edwin Bernard
