Madison Square Garden is a show unlike any other. People upon people;
unimaginable heat (given that it was a balmy 11 degrees OUTSIDE), dogs of every
size and description just looking for a quiet corner to catch a few winks...
It takes a very special kind of dog to be able to withstand the onslaught of
crazy hats, odd hair cuts, poking, prodding, petting and asking for photo ops.
The list of questions from spectators run from "why do they stand like that in
the ring??", to
"hows the hips", and the big question of the day..."How much does he
weigh???around 100 pounds??""(must've answered that one at least 50 times or
more with a gentle "we dont go by weight")...
Well, its all over till next year, and we all survived it unscathed. I would
like to extend my congratulations to everyone who competed! I was honored to
have been in the company of such great representatives of our breed! Vinnie
received an Award Of Merit!!!
Huge hugs and thank you to Vinnies agent and handler, Philip Moore who always
makes it fun both INSIDE and outside the ring! We couldnt have done it without
you!!!! Another big thanks to my brain Pam, without whom I would not have FOUND
the Garden..lol... to Sally Ann for Vinnies spectacular hand made crate
cover...to all my LHSH friends for their support and prayers...
But mostly, to Dallas and Kizzy...for giving me the dog who will forever take
my breath away. This ones for you guys....
