In the 7 years that I took dogs to the Cow Palace, we never had a sick dog
either. Well, one from eating too many hot dogs and ice creams as he met lots
of kids --- We always went to do PR and our dogs got to meet everyone and
anyone who wanted to meet them. That meant a lot of kids with food in years we
were close to the concession stands.

I have been showing at the Cow Palace bench show (Golden Gate KC) since
1984except for the 4 or 5 years when there were not GSDs because of a
conflict with a specialty show. This year, GSDs were back and I was back. In
all those years I have never come home with a sick dog. However, I do not
usethe wood shaving communal potty area....I take my dogs outside and find
some dirt, patch of grass or trees. Maybe that is why. It is a great show
anda great place to do PR for our breed. I am so glad GSDs are back again.
