Good morning everyone.  You voted and I tallied up those votes and we 
got ourselves "The 2006' Person of the Year!"  There was 76 votes and 17 
names nominated for this award.  The two people who received the most 
votes were only separated by 3 votes!  Both of these people have been in 
the breed for a long time.  The person with the third most votes should 
feel honored to be among all of these long standing recognized names for 
she is a "newbie" among this group.  All of these people have been 
recognized by their peers for exhibiting outstanding service to the 
German Shepherd Dog.  The people who received recognition by their peers 
are as follows:  Evan Ginsberg, Barbara Williams, Dawn Restuccia, Joan 
Ford, Tari Kridler, Gail Hardcastle, Carolyn Martello, Lew Bunch, Bob 
Penny, Susan Casey, Nancy Harper, Greg & Linda E, Scott & Margaret T, 
The Bookers, Dave Rinke, Bart Bartley, and Tish Walker.  
Congratulations.  You're all winners in many peoples eyes. 
THE WINNER OF "THE 2006" PERSON OF THE YEAR 
IS..............................EVAN GINSBERG!!!!!!!!!!!  Evan will 
receive a $25 Paypal payment to the animal rescue, shelter of his 
choice.  Along with my donation, I got an e-mail from Pauline Moon who 
wanted to add $20 to mine.  So Evan will receive $45 for his winning 
this award.  Thanks very much Pauline.  The second place winner was 
Barbara Williams, followed by Dawn Restuccia. 

Thank you to everyone who voted.  It was for a good purpose especially 
showing goodwill during this holiday season.  Best wishes to everyone
