Lafayette council member sent this:
After the workshop tonight staff was given direction by council to move
forward on revising Lafayette's code of ordinance dealing with dogs. They
will
bring back to council necessary revisions to the code including specific
language
on vicious dogs, which basically puts the responsibility back on the owners
and emphasizes more stringent licensing of dogs, enforcement of dog
ordinances,
and specific penalties for owners of dogs that are determined to be
vicious.
There was no recommendation that any BSL be included.
