Sheri, one of the main reasons that the local reporter couldn’t keep reporting
on this case was because she became PART of the case when that unscrupulous
dishonest prosecutor lied to the judge. Local media has been notified about
the return and hopefully, they will be present. That local reporter was
supportive of Upton dogs before she became part of the case.
And here: "Thank you to the thousands of supporters, hundreds of donors, many
breed & kennel clubs and People for Pet OWNership
<https://www.facebook.com/peopleforpetownership/>. Without you this would never
have been possible for any one person. Fighting back takes a strong and
intelligent army of harsh fighters and others that believe in them. YOU are why
the Upton dogs will be starting to return home tomorrow. Thank you for standing
united for all of our rights.
On to the next case.
Please keep active in the People for Pet OWNership group/page as we fight on -
as more of these cases are out there…. learn about them and help us help the
beleaguered owners of dogs and other animals that have been targets by ACs,
Animal Rights Groups and others.

Sadly Ed most of the national stations are very Pro Animal Rights, PETA,
HSUS, etc.. A couple of years ago Jeff Rossen put out a scathing report
about purebred dogs with an edited interview with AKC representatives that
put the purebred dog breeder in a very bad light. I know this because I saw
it on the TODAY show and wrote the network. Received no response. When this
all started the local news reported on it, but didn't keep up the awareness
to the public. If nothing else, the social media has helped support Mr Upton
during this time. Thank goodness for them.

There needs to be some kind of National media exposure to this incident,
something like ABC's 2020 or NBC's Dateline, or even CBS's 60 Minutes!
Exposure to these types of atrocities serves as a warning to other
organizations contemplating doing the same thing! This story should NOT just
die quietly! It appears to have been a horrific outrage! Thanks Stormy, Kay,
and others who have keep us in the loop! Mr. Upton today, could be you or me
tomorrow! Ed Hill

Sadly, there will be a TON of paperwork to file before releasing them but I
hope it's done ASAP.
I have never seen corruption so blatant. Thanks for sharing the super news,
Stormy.

Hopefully, it will mean that all the dogs (and the pups!) will be returned to
Paul Upton. We may never know the details of the settlement agreement as is
often the case. But the goal for the past year has been to get the dogs back
and thanks to the donors, this hopefully will be the end result.
Yeah, I’d like to see the city, IACC, the biased prosecutors and that evil AC
woman drawn and quartered, but it has to be about the dogs.
Since this cost the city so much money in legal costs and bad rep, it’s my
hope that at least there will be some people looking for new jobs.

What does this mean Stormy? I strongly feel the city should be held

This will be the end of a very long year for 30 German Shepherds and one
Rottweiler. GSDs have ‘strong’ temperaments and we can hope that this year of
incarceration will not have weakened those temperaments.
We will all shout for joy when we see them back at the kennels.
