I want to thank everyone who responded about the GSD (1 1/2 yrs. old) that 
needed a home - you're great.  
There is a happy ending for him.

Story - the breeder emailed me and said she couldn't take the dog back.  I was 
in contact with some other GSD people and someone in my local area that I know 
who has German dogs.  They knew the kennel name and the breeder.

After many phone calls and talking to the 2nd owner (who was frantic and 
crying),  wanting to find the dog a home immediately, before her kids got home 
- as the dog had killed one of her cats.  My friends knew a family that had 
been looking for a GSD to adopt, so my friends met the owner and brought the 
dog home.  He is not aggressive, actually a very nice dog (a little thin) and 
ears never came up.  He is up to date on all shots.  My friends called the 
prospective new owners and they were so happy and excited about him.   Now the 
bizarre thing - my friends actually knew the dog when his 1st owner took him to 
their place for some training.  The dog's name is Brutus.   Now get this - the 
new prospective owners asked what his name was and they told him it was Brutus. 
 This family has had GSDS before and all their dogs names start with a "B."   

Happy ending, they will get him tomorrow and their daughter's birthday is 
Thurs.   Brutus will be going to the vet.
