[ SHOWGSD-L ] Transport convoy to National?

This is undoubtedly a naive question..I was wondering if people going to the
national ever rented a large vehicle to transport several dogs from West to
East or vice versa.either with a hired driver or handler or one of the owners
doing the driving? I know handlers do it, perhaps not cross-country, but maybe
this is a way people have saved money and worry on transporting before?
