I have a real problem with this. Not only would the AKC not allow
OPINIONS to be added to the Standard,but I personally resent anybody telling
me how
to interpret the Standard. Now if you were going to write an article, say for
Dog News,or even our Review,and you presented our Standard with these

Helen it is not the "standard" but the Illustrated Standard we are talking
about here. This is two different things.
I have an IS from one of the breeds I studied that did just what you describe
above. They printed the "STANDARD" in black then in read following the
paragraph they put their opinion so I guess AKC does allow it.
