Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] Tis the Season....
....when we are overwhelmed with GSDs in need. I received a plea today for a
GSD who was left to starve on a short chain. This poor animal had no shelter
from the elements; her ears are torn at the tops as if she may have been
used for "bait". There were 6 other dogs at this house in various stages of
starvation; however, they all had shelter. This skeleton of a GSD did not.
I have never seen a GSD this emaciated that was still alive....LHSH has
offered our assistance. Since she was part of an abuse case, there is a 15
day required hold.
Anyone wishing photos of this dog, please contact me. WARNING...they are
graphic.
Please keep her in your thoughts tonight. She will need all the prayers she
can get.
