I just read this constant contact message and have to say I completely agree,
Evan. Very unusual to have an unsigned message speaking on behalf of the
"Board." I would like to know, as a 24-year member of the parent club, and one
who also has full confidence in our president and her actions - who authored
this communication? It might solve the mystery as to why the no confidence
motion was even taken up. Not to mention how to vote in future
elections.....Betsy Geishen-Scott Rowland German ShepherdsMaryland Sent from my

I noted an unsigned message from the Club. Whoever wrote it should consider if
disclosing information from a closed session is proper. It is not.
I also don't know who wrote it, since it referred to a decision by the Board,
and being unsigned by the Board, or any Board member leaves us to believe there
are serious problems with our Club.
I would ask whoever sent that to the members sign it, give us what authority
they had to speak for our Board, and why they would violate the by-laws and
discuss what was said in a closed session?
It is disappointing that someone has taken this step. I remember when I ran,
the membership list was used to send a campaign message for the person running
against me. When I inquired, it was determine that since they were able to
reverse the membership list, it was OK to do it. After that there was a
requirement to buy the list if you wanted to use it.
If something is unsigned, I tend to ignore it.
