Evan is correct.  At the German shows, imagine the Sieger show where they
manage to judge 4,000 dog in THREE days. The T, T, and T is done the DAY
BEFORE, papers examined, etc. The judge goes in and works them w/o having to
do individuals.  It DOES  work, certainly the efficiency of the Sieger show
is a testament to that.  Much of our problem is GETTING DOGS INTO THE RING
efficiently.
and the DOWNTIME between classes.
There were in the classes after all said and done: (according to our tally)
 81 dogs, 95 bitches. Total.
  41 BOB dogs and 44 BOB Bitches ,
It shouldn't have taken FOUR DAYS to judge so few dogs.  I am sure our new
show chairman
will have things moving along by next year.
Part of the problem with BORING is people lose interest when it takes 20
minutes to get 20 dogs into the ring.   It is boring when there is so much
time just standing around.   I doubt this will be
the problem next year , as it was recently.
Call me crazy, but come on, it isn't the judging that is the problem, it is
the lack of ability to
move the show along before / after classes that is causing such a zzzzzzzzzz
delay for everyone.
