BROK, the show is over, we have our new champion, and we are headed to the
airport. Sharon Averyâ??s daughter was here and her husband was cooking good
hamburgers. It was beastly cold in the morning, but we didnâ??t care. The
competition was fantastic, and to have Marky go BOB over those entries, and
the Specials was a real surprise. But, we are keeping the points. That is
two Best of Breeds her last two times out. Five point majors under Dave
Rinke and Bob Dresher, and then four points under Nadine Grady. To top it
off, Edy Trokie for the last points. That is a fun campaign.

Not all at the show was good, but most. I fell while trying to get around
the ring to double Marky, and I wouldnâ??t have minded but it was right in
front of Sherry Moses. It embarrassed me, and my knee popped out. I can
barely walk, but I have a new champion, so it is worth it. I need to reconsider
my priorities.
This was a fun trip. We are sitting in the airport in Seattle and Marky is
checked in, and seems to have become very happy with her crate. I donâ??t
know how I am going to get to court tomorrow, but I will carry the Best Of
Breed ribbon and show it to everyone who laughs at me.
We sat today with The Guz, Nancy Hubble, Amy Riley, Tracy Raddigan and
Karen Taylor. So, when we werenâ??t stressed out with judging, we were laughing
all day. Art Sinclair has the flu, so he didnâ??t show, but Sharon and Mike
Avery has a Super-Star for Best Opposite Sex from the 9-12 puppy class.
How cool is that.
We did get a call, Park Avenue took the major in the afternoon to finish.
Congratulations to Twyla Minor, and Kathleen Strong on their new champion.
And to the Grangers, Dave Lasater and us for ours.
I hope your day was half as much fun for you, without the knee pain. Even
with it, it is well worth the trade.
