We have had one male with testicular cancer....and he lived to a ripe old age after his surgery, with no metastasis. His was at fairly young age.... he had 13 points, one major. Needless to say, that was the end of that possible championship. However, we were able to show him as a veteran at the International shows (veterans @ 6) and he had a great time back in the ring...even won a BIS and a Reserve BIS. BTW, you can show altered animals in the IABCA. -Kay Reamensnyder and Betty Doerpinghaus -Home of Bedkar German Shepherds -bedkar@xxxxx -Visit our Website: www.bedkargsd.com .> > So to all of you who have intact males - generally when you pet your > dog, you do not include the testicles.
