WHITE is a masking gene. Genetically, that WHITE was a Sable.

Sorry, but Black&Tan x White does not a Sable make. At least one parent has to
be a Sable to get Sables. On White breeder websites, I have seen Black&Silvers
with faded saddles that look a bit like Sables.

Quite a few years ago, I bred my black and tan CH
Todorhaus Iron Eagle, OFA to a white bitch with excellent conformation and
temperament. She had all sables and they had excellent temperaments and
good health. Would I do it again? Most assuredly, I would. I go by the
DNA, conformation, temperament and pedigree. Whites are GSDs.
