Nope.
Many of the current board and officers were involved almost from the start.
Please get your facts straight - Ken Downing was not the one who committed
the GSDCA to participate, and that's been confirmed by more than one former
or present board member. Please, instead of spreading rumors "It is my
understanding" usually means you heard gossip from someone, why not go to
the source and get the facts?
Really, why are we blaming each other within the GSDCA when clearly Dan Yee
does not want to comply/cannot comply with requests to validate his
expenses? What company or club or other entity would pay such huge amounts
without some validation? And as far as taking entries without payment, no
way should GSDCA be responsible for his personal decision to pay the entry
fees for those clubs.

It's my understanding that the past president, Ken Downing, thought that the
this World Trial was actually the "Sieger Show" and thus committed the GSDCA
to participate in a financial partnership. He was unaware that this show
was not the big show...the Sieger Show, but meanwhile the agreement had been
made.
Our current officers and directors have been "stuck" with agreements made
long before their elected terms of office and have done a great job in
protecting us.
