[ SHOWGSD-L ] The Review again, and again and againâ.

After reading the recent posts on the subject of the Review, and also
remembering past posts going back to last year regarding these same issues over
and
over again, I have to remind myself that if the Review has problems - then the
GSDCA has problems. Finger pointing to one cog in the wheel is not going to
solve the circumstances that have been at issue for quite some time. The
Review is but one facet of our organization and (in my opinion) should have
been
dealt with as with any organization and/or business by the CEO if you will. My
question is why hasnâ??t it been addressed? Why has the Review been allowed to
go on and on with unresolved issues. I donâ??t blame the Review or its staff
for these failures; I hold the head of our organization responsible. An
analogy
would be if the CEO of a company had a segment of their business that was
continuously failing to meet company standards, then by all means that CEO
should
promptly address those issues otherwise the â??stockholdersâ?? would most
likely
pull out. The GSDCA is but an umbrella over all those components that make
it the organization it is. As I said at the beginning finger pointing and
complaining about one of those components wonâ??t solve the problem, the
problem
should have been addressed by the person in charge. There is an old saying by
former U.S. President Harry Truman, â??The buck stops here!â??
Going forward, I look for a revitalized club with exciting and progressive
accomplishments coming from our new Board. I wish them a good and proactive
meeting this week in Texas.
