Carolyn and Denise (and others) have personal experience of how much "errors" 
really mean to the individuals that are affected by them.  It is the old "the 
error did not affect me personally so it can't be important syndrome..."  How 
often that same mindset is seen in various issues that come up from time to 
time. For those who do not think it is "not all that", put yourself in Carolyn 
or Denise's shoes and has happened to me as well, so I know the importance of 
it.  So before some of you jump on Kathleen for bringing this to the list, ask 
yourself how would you feel if it was your dog that was mis-named or the photo 
missing.  There you are eagerly awaiting your copy of the Review to see your 
dog get the public acclaim for whatever accomplishment, and lo and behold, when 
you open the magazine, it is someone's else dog who is getting the acclaim.  
The other readers are looking at either a photo of your dog with someone's name 
attached to it, OR the photo and the name of the dog that went second or 
reserve or whatever.  It sucks, people!!! and it is oh so disappointing; so it 
is a big deal!  Pauline

I checked the trophy on the cover of this recent Review with the photo of BOSS

n his photo and it is STILL the same Von Stephanitz trophy .......but this one 
as the handle broken 
ff.      Really too bad.   
Sometimes things happen and sometimes you just can't fix the problem at the

o the best you can.....and I suspect that is what happened.

rophy to even put IN the photo.    It is a common looking picture as a result

rophy at all in the picture.    We ended up putting her moving photo on the 
over because of that.
ad the Von Sephanitz trophy  arrived broken I would have GLADLY put the flowers 
loser on that 
ide and still at least have that gorgeous Historic trophy in the picture of our 
ew Grand Victrix!!!!

egarding the Review.......what another disappointment of the size.    It is so 
mall now I have to say
 agree with Kathaleen.  I don't understand the volume of mistakes either for 
uch a small magazine.
SPECIALLY with NATIONAL  photos!
aving had to complain about a couple of errors in the last few years I can say 
t never is quite the same
o see a correction of your dog mis-named,  completely missing or the wrong dog 
n the photo.... ( or..in
ur case all three  problems over time....<G>  ) and then to  see the correction 
wo or three months later.  
 suspect those of you who think it is "no big deal"  have not had it happen

Imagine for the first time, as a newbie, having your dog go open dog, winners 
og, and BOS over specials, and having that omitted from the Review. The 
orrection was sent but never mentioned. That sure took the fun out of having
