Every neighborhood has got one. You can see her coming from a mile away.
There is never a wrong direction turned. Her opinion is gold. She seems to
make wrong SOUND right. You know the type. And when you get slammed by her,
you really feel it. Take yesterday, for example. I was told by person unknown
that my Entry-on-Time entry and Best- in-Show entry for the National were
invalid. I was told that a paper entry had to be submitted for our show. Even
though I KNEW I was right, I questioned myself--to the point of calling both
services today just to be sure. Cripe. Aren't some people insufferable?
But it was ok--when I came home from school today, Forest was here to greet me.
