Thank you to everyone who responded to my need for info on my old girl in season. She has stopped spotting and did have bacteria in her urine and is on antibiotics. Now, I have another question. Has anyone delt with diabetes insipidus in dogs? The treatment is a drug called DDAVP (desmopressin acetate). One of my old guys may have this disorder and I am having a hard time finding the medication. Diabetes insipidus is charaterized by drinking LARGE amounts of water and Peeing LARGE amounts of dilute urine.
