My now 10 year old bitch broke her upper canine off leaving about 1/4 inch of
tooth exposed - asked my vet and she said not to worry about it as it would
heal itself. This was when she was just under a year old, and she's had no
problems with it since then. I agree - I would just watch it but not worry
about it.
