I understand that Susan has volunteered to not show , steward , etc, etc,
until and if ever there are changes made to allow an Editor to do so. Susan,
you are a CLASS ACT.
To the people that proclaimed her (or her successors) guilty before proven
innocent, to the three or four that cried Foul , ad nauseum...I hope you are
ashamed of yourselves. Susan has HER priorities in line. You never gave her
a chance. You circled like hyenas waiting for a kill......that never came.
I guess it is a sad night for the people that spent so much energy trying to
find something , ANYTHING to cast a shadow on Susan's appointment as Editor,
either with her personally (which she never deserved) or with the Board. We
are talking about the few, who would NOT wait for a definitive answer, would
not give a moment's rest to a person who has worked her ass off for the
club/ Review...and guess what Folks... she DIDNT get all that 'advantage' or
help
as you would wish to decry.........
What she DID do is make the Review something we can all look forward to
again, and as on time as it has been for a VERY LONG TIME. Are all the
gliches
worked out? OF COURSE NOT.... there is too much to recover from for it to
happen overnight...but it IS happening.
I would be none to proud if I were the handful of people that want to see
conspiracy, breech of policy, conflict of interest in every thing and every
person. SUSAN CASEY HAS MORE INTEGRITY IN HER LITTLE FINGER THAN HER
DETRACTORS
HAVE IN THEIR WHOLE BODIES. She has shown her true colors......and so have
the people bound and determined to make this into an integrity/conflict
issue. Hope everyone keeps in mind for the future who those people are.
