For the last two years I have hosted a page on website for handler
availability at both nationals and I plan do that again next year. However,
I there has been a lot of talk about supporting the junior handlers, I have
been thinking about how I can help. I feel I have been very fortunate to
have a super young lady (Sheila Morgan) showing my dogs for the last couple
of years. Sheila came up through the junior ranks, I have benefited from
the experience she gained there and I think it is time for me to give
something back to the juniors that handle German Shepherd Dogs.
So my questions are:
How many GSD handling juniors would be interested in having their
availability listed? The listings would be in a similar format as the
listings that are there now.
Is that legal in the eyes of the AKC and the CKC?
Would this cause any problems for the juniors?
It would be a free service and I would just be donating my time and the
space to something that I feel is a worth while cause.
Any thoughts are appreciated!
