Hope this helps some of you that are still trying to find a place.
The Knights Inn really is a nice place. Lots of grass. Very clean...the
new owner is meticulous in the care of the place. Big continental breakfast
and a large, clean dining area. There are micro fridges in every room and the
furniture was all new after hurricane Rita. Can vouch for the
place....checked out several rooms in the first visit there last spring.
You can call direct...if they don't take the reservation, ask for Deb Newton
the manager. She will help you. It is by the way the closest hotel to the
national site....2 minutes up the access road.
Also right beside the Iron Skillet and they too have great meals.
