[ SHOWGSD-L ] Standard proceedure

Not that it matters, but I think Carmen got that changed.
 
 If there is to be a change in the standard, it is sent to the AKC  first 
to make sure they will approve it.  If they do, then it is sent to  the 
membership for a vote.
 
 The thinking was to save the cost of mailing it to the membership if  the 
AKC would not approve it.
