For me this is not the problem.  First I NEVER leave a dog loose in a  stall, 
second the problem is, with all that has to be done I love the feature of  
being able to put them in their crates while I am handling or doubling and lock 
 
them in safe and sound.  Out on a floor you can not do that, I agree, if  
parking is close and the weather is cool enough then I could leave them in the  
car while I was busy and of course would as opposed to leaving them in an open  
floor noisy busy place where they would not be able to relax....
