Hi All,
I'm planning to spay my 7.5 month old pet GSD. I would
appreciate some input regarding the relationship between
spaying before the first oestrus and urinary incontinence.
What has been your experience? On the web, as usual, the
opinions of vets and dog owners run the gamut from "no
correlation at all" to "as many as 50% of early spays are
affected." I've spayed one bitch before and one bitch after
her first oestrus and BOTH developed incontinence. Thanks in
advance for your help.
