I have certainly heard that, but never had it proven to me. Any rotten
fish I have seen seems to be rotten at all stages.
Maybe someone who has more rotten fish will correct me.
It does, however, sound like a cool idea.
There are so many great phrases, mostly by Jane's grandmutter.
