"CALIFORNIA HEALTHY PETS ACT" proponents' website lists numerous
supporters, and "Individuals & Other Organizations" includes the name
of "Keller Williams Realty". Really? Keller Williams is a
franchisor with 658 offices (76,157 agents), of which the California
Department of Real Estate lists 135 office licenses in California.
Would Keller Williams® Realty Inc., headquartered in Texas, support a
contentious California bill that targets pet owners, most of whom are
highly motivated in home ownership. If a franchised California
Keller Williams office owner supports AB 1634, its specific DBA name
should be included on the list at http://www.cahealthypets.com
In fact, it is incredulous that a franchised Realty office would
needlessly tarnish not only its own name but that of all Keller
Williams franchisees and their agents by supporting AB 1634. Contact
