I thought you were in Northern California for a moment when you were describing
the weather.
It is really dark and cold here and we are getting tiny threatening snow now....
We even have the proverbial bitch in season to match your place......but no
calves......... <G>
This is going to be a cold one......and we are hunkering down too. Love our
wood stove
during this kind of weather. Works even with the power off...........
Sally....I'll toast you with hot chocolate in the middle of this one as we send
it on to the East. <G>

Well I am preparing for another winter storm. I just got the last dog back
out into the runs one week ago today after 19 days in and we now have
another storm coming in tonight. 6-10 inches which in it self is not too
back but we have wind coming with it and then a couple more inches over the
weekend so once again I prepare to have everyone in - no wonder I don't get
much done during the day . along with calving and 4 males in with a bitch
in season is impossible.
I certainly wish the west coast would quit sending us this weather
