[ SHOWGSD-L ] Since I posted about Ed's speech

Since I posted about Ed's speech at the Victory Dinner and how it wasn't
about the dogs, but more about slamming the list and Margy, etc. I've
received a really nasty email or two from someone claiming to represent Mr.
Barritt who demanded an apology.
I was threatened with "slander" (which is making untrue statements about
someone in the spoken word, not in writing, which is libel) and threatening
them. Ok, whatever. An opinion is just that, an opinion, and in my opinion,
his speech was uncalled for. He took advantage of a platform created to talk
about the dogs who went GV/GVx and Select, not share his political opinions.
Did anyone who heard it really enjoy it, think it was appropriate? When I am
wrong I admit so, maybe I am in this case.let me know how you felt about it.
