Description of Dogs: Currently own- 5 GSD's, Labrador Retriever
(neutered), Papillon, Borzoi, St. Poodle(neutered)
Have owned- Toy Poodle, Shetland Sheepdog,
English Setter, Greyhound, Pointer, Belgian
Tervuren, Collie, Beagle, Several dogs that I
have rescued and were too old or sick to place.
Biography: I have been in dogs since I was 8 years old. My
first show dog was a GSD. Over the years I have
trained my dogs for therapy work at nursing homes
and day cares. I have also used my dogs for
demonstrations for 4-H kids to get them involved
in the dog program and to become interested in
AKC shows. I have been doing rescue for several
breeds for over 20 years and done behavior
modification training on several of them. I have
taught obedience, conformation, and agility
classes. I have done basic work for search and
rescue and have competed with my dogs in the
obedience and conformation ring. I am active in
my local GSD club and teach a conformation class.
Currently, my daughters show all of my dogs in
the comformation ring at the all-breed and
specialty shows.
