A lot of people have asked me what airlines we used. It was United/Continental
Cargo (they have merged). The flight was from Washington, DC to Portland, OR.
Although the cost was shocking, we were just happy that we could find a
*direct* flight to OR! I only wish we could have flown with her, but she
arrived in excellent shape and popped out of the crate into her new mom's arms
like that's where she always belonged.

Recently, we shipped a 73 lb. bitch in a #500 crate to the West Coast. The
cost was exactly $790.95. When told what the cost would be, the first words
out of my mouth were, "You've got to be kidding me?" The airline rep seemed
embarrassed.
$790 dollars and 95 cents!!! Holy smokes, Batman!!! I'm still in shock!
