One of the floats in the Rose Parade was dedicated to working dogs retired from the wars. It was quite moving to see the old German shepherd and the pride of the owners. I see more and more these dogs returning home when there was a time they were abandoned in a foreign country. Our breed more than most, offers so much to our society. I see more and more that being recognized.
