[ SHOWGSD-L ] Sending dogs off with Handlers?????

.....The joy of showing dogs to me is to be at the show WITH MY DOG, to grab
him or her when he or she comes out of the ring!....it would be no fun for me
to send my dog off with some handler...a few years ago I had a dog with his
conditioner/trainer while I was in Canada on vacation ( I'll be in Canada again
in 48 hours), the breeder wanted the dog shown in the futurity so I agreed to
it, but generally I would not send my dogs off to be cared for and shown
outside of my presence...I don't believe in it, and I never will...Ed
