The same reason we had so many people complained when Ed put up so many
selects. Those who won liked it, those who showed and didn't win, wanted him
to put up more. The only people unhappy were those who didn't show.
In the Futurity system, it is those who didn't show that want to change
it. Maybe if they can get the changes they want, they will enter? It is a
possibility.
I bet if we had a futurity in every state, we would have a larger entry
over the national figures. The classes would be small, but think of how
many would then show at the National as a local futurity winner.
Just another crazy thought from a demented Lister.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
