Sorry for your loss and thank you for giving Sassy the time and love to live
out her natural life.
As for the breeder ... What goes around, comes around! Maybe it's time to stop
protecting breeders that turn their backs. When known, list the sire and damn
or a tattoo number or the info from the micro chip.

â??~IÂ said "good-bye" to "Sassy" today, Amber's Rose II.. 1/1/2000 -
9/11/2012.
Sassy was one of the rescue dogs I had here, she died from vestibular
disease and was totally blind.~~Sassy has a story I would like to tell in her
memory.... Sassy was turned into the dog pound in Butler, Indiana in 2008 by
her previous owners along with another male they had. Both dogs where
bought as show dogs with very nice pedigrees. The dog pound called both
breeders listed on the AKC papers and luckily the male's breeder helped him
get
out from being put to sleep. Sassy's breeder was notified too, but they where
to busy getting ready to go to Florida to be bothered with her. When I was
helping Last Hope Safe Haven we where notified about Sassy and I said I
would take her. Jodi & Tom Bobin offered to drive from Pennsylvania to the
Ohio/Indiana border to pick her up and bring her to me. Sassy was going blind
at the time and was totally blind by the time she was 11, but got around
really good. Sassy lived with me from March 2008 till today...
IÂ think it is wrong for a breeder to ignore a call about one of their own
that is going to be put to sleep because no one wants her....shame on
you....
Good bye Sassy; I cared about you & will miss you....
