I am sorry to report that Lacey was hit by a car and killed at about 9:00 PM
tonight. Bill was still out searching for her and was only 6 blocks away.
Apparently the car that hit her didn't even stop. Another thoughtful woman
stopped and tried to get her out of the street. She managed to get her collar
off and was able to call Bill.
Thanks for everyone's good thoughts. Rest in peace sweet Lacey.
