[ SHOWGSD-L ] Sad News, Another passing

It is with a heavy heart that I tell you of the passing of Virginia Tarquinio.?
Any of you who showed at the Los Angeles specialties have seen and know
Virginia.? She was always there to sell catalogs, assist exhibitors and
handlers and was always a presence.? She finished her last dog, Merlo, about 5
years ago.? You may not know her name, but you would know her face.? She was?a
quiet woman and saw only the good in people.? ?
Virginia has had GSD's for well over 30 years.? She was a great obedience
trainer?of her dogs and enjoyed the conformation ring.? Most recently,?she and
her dogs were involved in herding.? She had to stop herding about a year ago,
when she was diagnosed with lung cancer.
I?will keep you posted on the funeral?specifics.??
