[ SHOWGSD-L ] Sad Day in Pittsburgh

Don't know if this terrible story has been reported beyond the Western Pa area.
Pittsburgh lost one of it's brave K-9 officers last night. He saved the life
of three other officers, including his handler, when a fugitive stabbed Rocco,
an 8 year old K-9, damaging his liver and part of his spine. Rocco needed all
of his blood replaced, but last night he bled internally and couldn't be saved.
What a tragic loss for the handler, his family, the Pittsburgh K-9 unit and
the city. He gave his life aiding in the capture of a fugitive and saving his
human. Rest in peace, Rocco.
