 Terra I don't know you, or at least I don't think I do......but I doubt that
President Tish Walker is dragging her feet...or perhaps you talked to her
personally and she told you she was dragging her feet.......If I remember Tish
just got back from Europe representing our club in Germany...she has always
kept us informed as to what was going on......the National is NOT tomorrow, I'm
pretty sure she will get to us when she needs to.....
I wonder if all the bitching is really behind the drop in members,
entries,clubs folding etc.....Canada had it's National on DIRT!.....didn't
hear one complaint.....chill out everybody...the owners of the upcoming GVX and
GV will not care about the surface...Ed Hill

To the President, the Officers and Board of Directors of the German Shepherd
Dog Club of America,
My name is Terra Fairburn and I breed, show and love German Shepherds. I am
also a member of the GSDCA and a past member and President of the GSDC of the
Quad Cities. Our Club disbanded two years ago for several reasons. The economy,
small membership, messy politics, and people needed a break from the work load.
Since that time it seems that the National Club has been in havoc (IMO). Why
does this continue? What is the mission of this Club and why isn't it
functioning in a collaborative and fiscally sound way? Why can't the membership
know what is going on?
I have heard that there is a private donor willing to pay for all the cost of
having SOD at the National and President Tish is dragging her feet by not
responding to a very important meeting that must occur by tomorrow. Would
politics cause this to happen? Doesn't it say in the P/P that we are to have
our National Show on SOD?
If there is no cost to the GSDCA why would our Officers and Board of Directors
not find some common ground and do the right thing? This is not for a political
group or clique, this is for our National Show, and Our Beloved German
Shepherds!
Please do the right thing and get together and talk about the SOD. If there is
absolutely no cost please allow SOD at the National.
