I talked to Roxann at the Salt Lake shows at the end of August. She mentioned
Turbo had battled cancer, but was okay. Near the bottom of her obituary it says
she was preceded in death by her best friend, Turbo. I had not heard he died.
Turbo's breeder, Dave Lasater has been trying to call the family, but gets no
answer on the house phone and the voicemail is full. Not sure how many other
dogs she still had, if any. When I saw Roxann in August she mentioned she had
some type of blood cancer, but got monthly treatments for it.

I am really saddened to hear this too. I think Roxanne was only in her 50's.
Roxanne had a lot of things going on in her life .....and I prefer to remember
the day her beloved Turbo
won Futurity Victor, Winners Dog and Select at his and her first National. I of
course was all excited as
Turbo was one of our Cowboy's first Champions. But as everyone clustered around
to congratulate
Roxanne and her dog....... Roxanne fell to her knees and began to sob. Turbo
immediately stood almost
over her and began to growl at everyone. Needless to say we all backed off
until Roxanne stood up again
and then everything was fine for us to give her hugs.
That was a very special day for her..........and I am just so glad she got to
have it!!
Frank helped Roxanne with Turbo to get his first breeding.....which produced
Candy Zumwalt's wonderful
YADA YADA. For someone new to this sport...many memories surrounded Roxanne and
her Turbo.
I hope her family is doing OK with wonderful memories of their own about
Roxanne.

I'm not sure if everyone saw this, but I'm shocked Roxann suddenly passed away!
She was in Texas and a GoFundMe account has been set up to get her home to
Idaho... I'm still shocked and very sad....she was only a few that would talk
to me and was a straight shooter!! She has beautiful dogs too!! Rest in peace
