[ SHOWGSD-L ] Ringworm In Dogs?

Hi,
My son's girlfriend has a Boston Terrier 8 mth old pup. He has several missing
hair spots on his chest, under belly, and legs. Her Vet diagnosed him with
Ringworm. I had never heard of this in dogs, and was wondering if anyone else
has. Also what is proper treatment? Thanks in Advance,
