From my RESCUE friend
Hereâ??s the  thought/plan, build a letter to be signed by any and all breed 
specific rescue  groups Opposing AB 1634.  Weâ??ll be listing numbers on  how 
many 
weâ??ve pulled from shelters, and how many owner surrenders weâ??ve taken  in, 
therefore keeping the dogs out of the shelters completely!    
Hereâ??s my Directorâ??s  thoughts: 
Do you know of  people in other breed rescues in CA who might have already 
written who could  share what they have written to give us some ideas.  We 
could 
cosign the  letter, I could put it on ABA Rescue stationary and FAX it.  We 
could  make the point that those shelters that are willing to work with breed 
rescues  are the ones that are helping reduce the numbers of dogs that have to 
be  euthanized - if you see that point. 
If you are head of a  rescue opposing the bill, and want to join in, or 
already have sent letters we  can â??build off ofâ?? or if you know of other 
groups 
that would like to be part  of this, let me know!  We need to let them know not 
all rescues are  supporting this bill!   
Deadline is July  2nd, we need to get this going NOW!
