It worked the whole time...when you opened the door the light didn't go on

You'll enjoy this...after running down the steps countless times I pulled
out the manual...I over-rode the dammed alarm by setting the "Sabbath
mode"...and it stayed in Sabbath mode (quiet) until the repair man came.
I honestly didn't know there WAS such a thing as "Sabbath mode"!
What if you were Jewish? Would it only work Friday evening through
Saturday?
